Mulethi -Yashtimadhu(ଯଶ୍ଟିମଧୁ)

Mulethi or licorice, also known as “Sweetwood”, is a traditional medicinal herb that is aromatic and is used in teas and beverages to add flavours. It is widely used in Ayurvedic practice and is said to treat respiratory and digestive disorders. This practice is also called Yashtimadhu.

ମୁଲେଥୀ କିମ୍ବା ଲୋରୋରାଇସ୍, ଯାହାକୁ “ମିଠା କାଠ” ମଧ୍ୟ କୁହାଯାଏ, ଏହା ଏକ ପାରମ୍ପାରିକ ସୁଗନ୍ଧିତ ଏବଂ ସ୍ୱାଦ ଯୋଗାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଚା ଏବଂ ପାନୀୟରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ, ଆୟୁର୍ବେଦିକ ଅଭ୍ୟାସରେ ଏହା ବହୁଳ ଭାବରେ ବ୍ୟବହୃତ ହୁଏ ଏବଂ ଶ୍ୱାସକ୍ରିୟା ଏବଂ ହଜମ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକୁ ଚିକିତ୍ସା କରିବା ପାଇଁ କୁହାଯାଏ, ଏହି ଅଭ୍ୟାସକୁ ଯଶ୍ଟିମଧୁ ମଧ୍ୟ କୁହାଯାଏ I
